Welcome to Depp Shadows, the neverending soap opera compiled from the messages of Deppville!  In a world of drama, intrigue, romance, mayhem, humor, pathos, a mysterious locket, Indian lore, the supernatural, and emotions ranging from A to triple EEE long, a cast of pirates, chocolatiers, local politicians, lawkeepers, innkeepers, merchants, mystics, desperados, petty thieves and alchemists try to maintain and make some sense of it all ... sometimes working together, sometimes at cross purposes.  However, all are united at one time or another by one or more of the following:  love of home ... appreciation for beauty and truth, the arts, and outstanding culinary delights ... penchant for gathering together and cryin' the odd tear over free-flowing wine, rum, absinthe, and/or Kir Royales ... and an almost fanatical devotion to Johnny Depp.  :-)

These adventures are the result of many creative minds working feverishly together, feeding the machine, as it were.  Hence the shifts in writing style, at times ... not to mention shifts in storyline.  One or the other of us posting one thing, having no idea what others would respond with, and sometimes having to quickly scramble when yet another surprise contributor throws a spanner in the works, in a manner of speakin'.  Your humble compiler has chosen to keep everything as is, to maintain the spontenaiety that has made -- and continues to make -- this undertaking so much damn fun from the get-go.

So enjoy!  And to the casual reader who eventually clicks away from this site, throwing up hands in exasperation at the admittedly frequent lapses in sense, continuity and sensibility, I can only say, get yer own show, mate!  It's the beauty of live television ... savvy?
